Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology: Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLT) are members of the healthcare team who do laboratory tests and investigations related to illness diagnosis, treatment, and prevention in a wide range of specimens such as blood, body fluids, and tissues. Medical Laboratory Technologists are scientific fact finders who use complex instruments to prepare tissues, investigate cells and microorganisms under the microscope, and analyse the composition of body fluids and secretions. Medical Laboratory Technologists operate in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment that requires close attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
