About the course

Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences - Molecular Basis of Health and Disease: The Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences - Molecular Basis of Health and Disease will give you a strong foundation in the science of health and disease, as well as provide you with specialist knowledge in molecular biology. The course aims to develop students knowledge and understanding of biological systems, which are complex, dynamic and changeable. Students will learn about how these systems are regulated, how they can be compromised by genetic and environmental factors, and how this can result in disease. They will also learn about how diseases can be managed or prevented. The course is designed for students who want to pursue careers in medicine or related areas such as dentistry or pharmacy.
