About the course

MA Anthrozoology: The MA Anthropology in Anthrozoology program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the ways humans interact with non-human animals and their environments. The program aims to prepare students for careers in public, private, and nonprofit sectors by providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct research on human-animal relationships, as well as the ability to apply that research in their chosen fields. The program covers a range of topics including Ethnography of Animal Behavior, Animal Worldviews and Cognition, Human/Animal Symbiosis, and Animal Welfare Issues.
