About the course

Doctor of Medicine and Master of Science in Biomedical Investigation - Nutrition Track: This five-year dual degree programme prepares students for employment in basic or clinical research at academic medical centres. Three to six graduate courses in a specific track chosen by the student based on his or her interest, six graded credits of medical school coursework, a common seminar series, training in scientific integrity, and a full-year research project culminating in a written report and examination by faculty are the core components of this degree. Biochemistry, clinical investigation, epidemiology, health services research, nutrition, pathology, physiology, and biotechnology are among the tracks available. Each track has its own set of course prerequisites. The research year is free of tuition and comes with a stipend.
