The Bachelor of Information Technology and Bachelor of Science - Applied Mathematics [Extended Major] is a program designed to prepare students for careers in information technology (IT) and applied mathematics. Students will gain expertise in both fields, which are closely related and have strong career prospects. Students in this program will be able to develop the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to succeed in a wide range of IT jobs, including programming, network administration, database administration and system analysis. The Extended Major also helps prepare students for graduate studies in areas such as computer science or mathematics.
