Bachelor of Applied Science - Mechatronics and Robotics: The Bachelor of Applied Science degree program in Mechatronics and Robotics provides students with an opportunity to explore the application of mechatronics principles and robotics technologies to a wide range of industries, including manufacturing and automation, automotive, aerospace, defense, healthcare, telecommunications, transportation, and logistics. The program is designed for students who have an interest in robotics or mechatronics but have not declared a major. The curriculum covers topics such as mechanical engineering design; electrical systems; computer-aided design (CAD) tools; manufacturing processes; industrial controls systems; robotics principles; kinematics, dynamics, and control theory; motion planning algorithms; sensing techniques; motion control applications; machine vision systems; human-machine interfaces (HMIs); embedded systems programming using microcontrollers; industrial robots in various applications including assembly operations.
