Master of Science In Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering: The Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering is a program that prepares students for careers in research, development and design of advanced mechanical and aerospace systems. The MSME program is an intensive, four-semester professional degree program dedicated to developing the technical knowledge and skills required for success in today s engineering profession. The curriculum includes courses in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, solid mechanics, vibrations and dynamics. Students also take courses covering the principles and practice of engineering design including computer aided design (CAD) and finite element analysis (FEA). The program culminates with a thesis project that allows students to demonstrate their mastery of their chosen area of study.
