B.A. (Moderatorship) - Biological and Biomedical Sciences - Microbiology: The study of microorganisms, such as bacteria, protists, fungi, and viruses, as well as their behaviors and effects—both positive and negative—on humans, animals, plants, and the environment, is known as microbiology. It also investigates how to mitigate these consequences and use microbial activities for biotechnological purposes. A microbiologist is a multidisciplinary scientist who uses a variety of techniques to study bacteria at the cellular and molecular levels. They are also experts in microbial genetics and biochemistry.
