About the course

MA (Hons) Gaelic/Celtic Civilisation: This course is designed to introduce you to the history, culture and literature of the Gaelic peoples. It will allow you to gain a detailed understanding of the rich past and present of these two peoples and how they have interacted with one another over time. The course will cover everything from their origins in antiquity up until the 21st century. You will learn about their languages, literature, religion and mythology as well as how they have influenced other cultures across Europe and beyond.
