Tip: A - levels in eligibility means the grade of A’s and B’s you have. Different universities in the UK have different standards of grades they accept. It may be AAAs, AABs and the value of this grade system may vary with each university.

For 2024 entry, the application fee is £27.50 for up to five choices.

When you apply through UCAS, you will be asked for an institution name and number and course code. Having the UCAS information ready will make things quicker:

2.University of Glasgow

If you are a student of Arts, Engineering, Law, Nursing, Science, and Social Sciences you can either apply from UCAS.

But Applications to Dentistry, Education, Medicine, and Veterinary Medicine must be made through UCAS.

The application deadline for UCAS of University of Glasgow is 30th June, but for students pursuing academics in Dentistry, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine must apply before 16th October.

  • IELTS with a minimum score of 7.
  • TOEFL 237 in the computer-based test (600 in the paper-based test) and a TWE of at least 4.5.

3.  University of Leeds

If you are nominated by one of our European or worldwide partner universities for a place on the exchange programme you are joyously welcomed.

You need a higher score for Arts, Media, English, Law, Linguistics, Business, Philosophy, Religion, Politics, International Relations and History Studies.

4. University of Birmingham

Complete an online application form available at the university’s website.

Complete the Equal Opportunity section, which is required by UK law.

Apply for a Visa through any eligible representative.

You can also apply for a UCAS, that may incur some application charges.

5. Durham University

Simply Log on to the Universities Website and you will find the application portal that will submit your application in one shot!

Browse between different courses according to your suitability.

Alternately, you can contact any server providers to apply to multiple universities at once.

6. University of Sheffield

All applications for undergraduate study in the UK, including the University of Sheffield, must be made through UCAS online.

  • Undergraduate applicants are required to achieve a minimum of IELTS score 6.0 with 5.5 in each component or equivalent.
  • Postgraduate applicants are required to achieve a minimum of IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 in each component or equivalent.
  • Some academic departments may require a higher score.

Applications usually open in September.

7.  Newcastle University

It is recommended you submit your application a minimum of 12 weeks before your intended semester or trimester start date.

The University’s website has its own application portal where you can upload your documents and submit your application.

8. Queen Mary University of London

Students with completed A-Levels or equivalent will be considered as a direct entry.

Students of India with grades from 60% to 80% in their 12th Class Examination are also eligible.

9. University of Liverpool

You can either apply from UCAS, or through the online application system on the University’s website.

A Confirmation of acceptance will also be provided for your UK student visa after you have been successfully accepted, or you can come on contact with any of the approved agents of University of Liverpool in your country.

10. University of Strathclyde

You can apply from the UCAS or the direct application system available for International students.

The cost of applying is 22 pound sterling for one course.

And 26 pound sterling for more than one course.

For Indian Students: 70-75% in all subjects  is acceptable for class XII and X.

And 60% in your graduation degree, if you are applying for a master’s programme.

31st January is the application Deadline for most courses.
