The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is an English proficiency test used by students planning to study abroad as well as those seeking to immigrate to English-speaking nations. It is the most extensively used exam on the planet.

iBT means Internet-based test and PBT means Paper-based test. TOEFL iBT and TOEFL PBT differ in number of sections. TOEFL PBT will not have writing where TOEFL iBT contains a writing section. And the highest score for TOEFL iBT and PBT are 120 and 677 respectively.
