  • The employer who provided you the employment offer must be registered for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) by the Denmark Agency.
  • You must fulfill the criteria of the job role.
  • The employer must submit your work permit and residence permit application online.
  • You must have your employment agreement handy so that you can attach during the visa application.
  • Salary and employment conditions must meet the Denmark standards.

Eligibility for Danish Green Card Scheme

The process to get a Danish green card is easy as it depends on the points based system. According to your age, education, language proficiency and some other factors, points will be allotted to you, which decides whether you are eligible for the green card or not. A minimum of 100 points is required to be eligible for the Danish Green Card.

Here are the eligibility requirements to get a Danish Green Card

  • The applicant must hold a masters degree and bachelor's degree. If you are graduated from a university, which is one of the world top 400 universities, then extra points would be awarded.
  • The applicant's profession must be listed in Denmark positive occupation list.
  • A proof of sufficient funds needs to be submitted which can prove that you can support yourself and accompanying family members.
  • A good health and character certificates are mandatory.
  • A history of education or work in European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), or Switzerland can be an added advantage.

Eligibility for Denmark Pay Limit Scheme

The candidates must meet the below requirements to be eligible for Pay limit scheme

  • The candidates with annual salary of DKK 417, 793, 60 or more are eligible for the Denmark pay limit scheme.
  • The employer who offered you a job in Denmark must confirm that the salary and the minimum renewable amount of the salary must be deposited in a bank which is approved by Danish government.
  • Every year on January 1st, the minimum amount of the scheme will be renewed.
  • Factors like basic salary, paid holiday allowances, and payments to labor market pension schemes should be included in the combination of Salary and Pay Limit scheme.

Eligibility for Denmark Positive List Scheme

  • A minimum bachelor degree is required to be eligible for the Denmark positive listing scheme.
  • The profession must be listed under Denmark positive occupation list
  • Also it must be a skill which has shortage in employment

Eligibility for Residence Permit for Researchers

  • Have a Master's degree or the equivalent (as a minimum)
  • Be employed as a researcher in an academic position at AU.
