Here are the eligibility criteria to apply for Quebec Skilled Worker Visa.

To be eligible for the entrepreneurs programme, you must meet the following requirements.

Stream 1 requires you to settle in Quebec and run a business. Our Quebec immigration consultants can help you with the initial application process for this stream.

• You must run a business that has received a service offer from a business incubator or a university entrepreneurship programme.
• The business may be conducted by you alone or in collaboration with up to three other foreign nationals.
• You must present your business project in the form of a business plan.

For Stream 2, you must plan to settle in Quebec with the intention of starting or buying a business.

• You must make a startup deposit as well as a security deposit with any financial institution in the province.
• You must deposit 200,000 CAD if your business is located outside of the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal (CMM) and 300,000 CAD if your business is located within the CMM.
• You and your spouse a must have a minimum net worth of 900,000 CAD. You must demonstrate that the money was obtained legally.
• If you choose to start your own business in the province, you must own at least 25% of the company's equity.
• If you choose to acquire an existing company, you must own at least fifty percent of the equity in that company.
• The company may not engage in any of the following activities.
  • Payday loans
  • Pledge loans
  • Cheque cashing
  • Real estate or insurance-related activities
  • Sales of an adult or explicit nature

• Your application will also be evaluated based on the following criteria.
  • Age
  • Educational level
  • Language skills
  • Financial status
  • Immediate family members in Quebec

To be eligible for the investor program, you must have a net worth of at least CAD 2,000,000.

• This amount should have been obtained legally. It can be obtained by you alone or in conjunction with your spouse.
• The amount should not have been received as a donation within six months of filing your application.
• You must have managerial experience in either an industrial, commercial, or agricultural enterprise.
• The enterprise must have at least two other full-time employees in addition to you.
• Intent to start the business in Quebec.
