Eligibility Requirements for Applying for an Undergraduate Program in France

You will need to fulfill the following criteria to be eligible to study in France for an undergraduate or Bachelor’s program

  • You should have completed your high school diploma or an equivalent degree. You should have completed your French baccalaureate or any degree that is on par with it
  • You should have passed the university admission examination for your selected university in your native country
  • You may be required to attend an interview, which will be conducted either online or in person, depending on the nature of the course you are planning to apply for
  • You will need to take an English language test such as IELTS or TOEFL and submit your scores to prove your proficiency levels in the language
  • You will need to show that you have sufficient funds to cover the cost of your education and stay for the duration of your course

Eligibility Requirements for Applying for a Post Graduate Program in France

You will have to fulfill the following eligibility conditions in order to be eligible to apply for pursuing a postgraduate program at a university in France

  • If you are planning to apply for a Master’s program in France , then you should have completed your Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field
  • If you are planning to apply for a doctoral program in France, then you should have successfully completed your Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • You may need to submit the scores of standardized tests such as GRE, SAT or GMAT, for some universities.
  • The Grandes Ecoles in France, have their own entrance examinations which you will need to take to be eligible for admission.
  • You may need to attend an interview for gaining admission into some universities in France. The interview could be either in person or online.
  • You will need to submit all your academic transcripts from previous educational institutions
  • You should be able to show that you have sufficient funds to cover the cost of your tuition fee and stay in France.
