CANADA IMMIGRATION-PROVINCES CONTINUE TO OPEN DOORS TO NEW IMMIGRANTS

Ontario & British Columbia Issue New Set Of Invitations To Apply
Ontario, in a recently conducted draw has issued invitations to apply to more than 1,770 Express Entry candidates who have had experience in the technology field and have a minimum CRS score of 435 or more.
On the other hand, British Columbia has invited more than 3390 candidates, to apply for provincial nomination from the province over the past 20 days
The Ontario Tech Draw, which was held on August 1, Thursday, saw the issuance of precisely 1,773 invitations to candidates in the Express Entry pool. The applicants needed to have a work experience in any one of the six specified occupations in the technology sector apart from having a Comprehensive Ranking System scores of at least 435 or more

The draw, was the second tech draw for the province of Ontario since its introduction in last July. Since its inception of this draw, more than 3000 candidates in the Express Entry pool have now obtained Invitations to Apply (ITAs), or Notifications of Interest (NOIs) from the province of Ontario.
Ontario has the distinction of being home to a number of major tech hubs in Canada, and is one of the main attractors for persons interested in Canada immigration.
The cities of Ottawa, Toronto, and Waterloo, continue to attract workers in the tech field and benefit from the Tech Draws, which are designed to meet their growing needs for workforce in the tech sector.
The capital city, of Ontario, has created more than 80,000 tech jobs over the last five years, according to Scoring Tech Talent Report by CBRE for the year 2019. The draw enables the province of Ontario to search the federal Express Entry pool and issue invites to eligible candidates.

British Columbia Issues More Than 3000 Nominations for Canada Immigration In 2018
British Columbia has also in the recent past issued nearly 3100 nominations over the past year, in yet another example of province in Canada opening doors to immigrants.
Almost 2000 of the nominations were for candidates who were in Express Entry Skilled Worker Category, while 936 were given to international graduates who studied in post-secondary institutions in the province, through the International Graduate Category.
The 3,100 nominations which were issued to Express Entry candidates saw an increase of 750 nominations over the previous year and made up more than 45 per cent of all nominations that were issued by the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program the previous year
The Express Entry system is the primary source of obtaining skilled foreign workers for Canadian companies. Provinces and territories in Canada, which participate in the countries Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) are eligible to nominate candidates in the Express Entry pool for permanent residence through specialized, and enhanced nomination streams.
