10 FAQS BY WES APPLICANTS ABOUT EDUCATIONAL CREDENTIAL ASSESSMENTS (ECAS) FOR CANADA IMMIGRATION

10 FAQs by WES Applicants about Educational Credential Assessments (ECAs) for Canada Immigration

Educational Credential Assessment for Canada immigration.

Educational credential Assessment (ECA) is one of the mandatory documents to submit by the WES applicants who are planning to immigrate to Canada through Express Entry Pathways as per IRCC guidelines.

IRCC: Immigration, Refugees, and Canadian Citizenship has made it mandatory to submit Education Credential Assessment for the applicants who are pursuing immigration pathways, especially Canada Express Entry.

Education Credential assessment verifies the applicant's degrees if done in foreign countries and converted to Canadian level. There are multiple types of ECA for immigration purposes, a different kind for re-issuing, etc.

IRCC verifies each ECA submitted by a prospective immigration application, evaluates the degree finished in a foreign country, and compares the grades with the Canadian Education standards.

World Education Services (WES) is one of five organizations approved by IRCC to issue ECAs for applicants who have done their degrees outside Canada (excluding ECAs for doctors and pharmacists). Here we address some of the most commonly asked questions by the WES applicants below.
