USA Visa Documents: United States has become one of the best international vacations because of the exciting destinations and unique experiences, traveling you'll ever experience. Many applicants are unaware of the steps involved in applying for a US visa, which include completing online paperwork, scheduling appointments, paying for them, and attending the interview. One of the most important jobs in the US Visa application is identifying the appropriate visa type and organizing the visa documents.

Mandatory Documents

  • Original passport having at least two blank pages, valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival into Singapore.
  • Passports from the past.
  • Confirmation form DS-160.
  • Confirmation of the interview appointment.
  • A recent snapshot taken against a white background measuring 2"X 2". The photograph must be in both digital and hard copy format.
  • Receipts for visa application fees/proof of payment for visa application fees (MRV fee).

Supporting Documents

To verify that you will return to your home country after your temporary stay in the United States, you will need the following documents:

  • Bank statement with appropriate balance for the last six months; updated and attested Income Tax Returns/Form 16 for the previous three years.
  • Travel itinerary that explains the journey.
  • Certificate of approved leave, salary slip for the previous three months, and company visitor card (If employed).
  • Proof of business registration, a current bank statement for the company, three years' worth of IT returns for the company, and a visiting card. (If you are self-employed).
  • Invitation letter, a copy of the inviter's passport or resident permit, and proof of address (If visiting family & friends).
  • ID card from school or college (If student).
  • Parental No Objection Certificate (NOC) and confirmation of parental identity (If minor travelling without parents).
  • Statement of Pensions (If retired).
  • Sponsorship letter, evidence of sponsor ID, and a current bank statement (if sponsored).
  • Covering letter from Indian company, invitation letter from Host Company (US Temporary Business visa).
  • Fixed Deposits, Share Certificates, Property Investments, and other Investments are examples of supporting financial documents (Optional).
  • Personal Appearance is required for biometrics and the Visa Interview at the Offsite Facilitation Center (OFC) and the US Embassy.
