The Danish government has devised a number of schemes to make it easier for overseas skilled professionals to obtain both a work permit and a residence permit in Denmark. The Work Visa programme eventually leads to a Permanent Residency Visa, which allows immigrants to enter and settle in Denmark while enjoying all of the country's rights and benefits without becoming a citizen.
Permanent Residency is reserved for talented immigrants who have not been sponsored by an employer and do not have a prior job offer from Denmark, but who have unique skills in a specific occupation needed in the country. Each visa scheme has different set of documents required and to get a clear idea of which visa you should apply for, take the help of our Denmark Immigration counselors.
