It's important to remember that while the entry requirements for Irish universities are lower, the educational quality is not.

  • A minimum academic score of 60% or above in Standard XII is mandatory to study masters or bachelor's in Ireland.
  • Students with a 50% or higher can enroll in foundations and diploma programs.
  • The student must be 18 years old to Study in Ireland
  • Documents required for Ireland Student visa
  • Two passport-sized color photos taken within the last six months (refer to the website of the Irish Naturalization and Immigration Service for photograph specifications)
  • Current passport and a copy of each of your previous passports as well
  • A letter of application with your signature and all of your contact details
  • Proof of enrollment a privately funded course
  • Proof of acknowledging any kind of educational gaps
  • Proof of tuition fee payment.
  • Proof of your academic abilities to complete the course you've chosen. That means you need to submit all your educational transcripts as proof of your academic qualifications.
  • Proof of your English proficiency (often in the form of a TOEFL or IELTS or PTE test score)
  • Proof of sufficient funds to support yourself while studying in Ireland. The minimum amount required is €7,000, which is an approximate value of the cost of living in Ireland for international students.
  • If anyone is sponsoring, then they need to submit proof of their ability to sponsor you with at least €7,000 every year until you finish your education.
  • Medical insurance is also a mandatory document to submit during the visa application process.
  • If you have a history of visa rejections earlier, then you must submit those details as well.
  • A letter of intent stating the intention to return to the home country after the education in Ireland.

If the applicant is below 18 years and unaccompanied,

  • Birth Certificate
  • A parent or legal guardian signed consent
  • Accommodation and vetting details
  • A letter stating no other family members are accompanying the student
