BC PNP - Skilled Worker Category

  • This category is intended for you if you have received an eligible and valid job offer in a skilled occupation

BC PNP - Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker Category

  • To apply under this category you will need to have work experience in an entry-level or semi-skilled position in food processing, tourism/hospitality, or long-haul trucking

BC PNP - Healthcare Professional Category

  • You can apply under this category if you are currently working as a healthcare professional and have sufficient work experience
  • It is also required that you have a valid job offer as a physician, nurse or other health care practitioner to qualify for this category

BC PNP - Entrepreneur Immigration Category

  • This category is intended for you if you are a senior manager in a business or own a business in the province of British Columbia
  • You should also be able to demonstrate genuine intention and ability to invest the required funds for the business

BC PNP - Entrepreneur Immigration- Regional Pilot

  • This category is intended for you if you are an international business owner and are planning to start and operate a new business in a rural community province
  • In order to qualify, you should have a business that is established in a community with a population of less than 75,000 people and is situated more than 30 kms from a city
  • The program is for a duration of two years and has been started to mitigate the demographic challenges faced by regional communities in the province
  • If selected, you will receive a temporary work permit to enable you to establish your business in the province for an initial period of 12 months.
  • After the initial period has passed and you have been found to meet the requirements of the performance agreement then you will be qualified to receive a provincial nomination to apply for Canada PR

Eligibility Criteria for British Columbia

You will have to satisfy the following criteria to be eligible to apply under the different streams as given below

Eligibility for British Columbia PNP – Skilled and Semi Skilled Workers

  • Skilled and semi skilled workers will need to register on the Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) to apply
    • The Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS), which was introduced in 2016 by the British Columbia government is a points-based system which gives you a score that determines whether or not you will be issued an invitation to apply.
    • The score will be based on various factors including your age, education, work experience and offer of employment from a business in New Brunswick
  • Prospective immigrants must accept full time and an intermediate job offer.
  • The job offer must be from an employer in British Columbia.
  • The occupation must be listed under the NOC skill level 0, A, or B.
  • You should have adequate, legal and relevant work experience of at least two years
  • You should have an educational qualification that is relevant to your job position
  • You should be able to show CLB/ NCLC score of 4 in English and/or French

Eligibility Criteria for BC PNP - International Graduate Category

  • You should have obtained a Diploma or degree from an eligible university or college in Canada
  • You should have a valid full-time employment offer from an employer in BC

Eligibility Criteria for BC PNP - International Post Graduate Category

  • You should have obtained a Doctoral or master’s degree from a valid educational institution in the province

Eligibility Criteria for BC PNP - Health care Professional Category

  • You should have the required qualifications related to your practice and applicable license
  • You should have adequate work experience that is related to your practice
  • You should have a full-time offer of employment from the British Columbia Public Health department

Eligibility Criteria for BC PNP - Entrepreneur Category

  • You will need to have a personal net worth of at least 600,000 CAD which must have been legally obtained and verifiable. It could be in the name of your spouse as well
  • You will need to have work experience or credential as an active business owner and manager in a business where you have had 100 percent ownership for three out of the last five years.
  • You will need to submit a business concept that shows an active and ongoing managerial role in the day-to-day operations of business
